The new Devon AVR-2310ci is up and rocking. This one is noticeably warmer and sweeter in sound than the AVR-1804 it replaced (not that I plan to retire the 1804!). The Audyssey setup system on the 2310 is fantastic. It tailored the system to my rather awkwardly shaped room. The "sweet spot" seems to find me and follow me rather than me having to find it. Nice!
The HDMI switching makes the 2310 the brain of the system instead of just the driving force of a bunch of separate components. The central control of the 2310 simplifies operation of the entire system.
All that said, I am still discovering features. I haven't even gotten to the functions of the second remote control, yet.
